Drawing Die Tools

Two types of drawing dies with СКМ and СВА-15BU polycrystal working parts with internal diameter 0,05 - 5,0 mm are produced, as well as special purpose drawing dies.

Type “M” drawing dies: Used for cold (wet) drawing of nonferrous metals (copper, aluminum, silver, gold, platinum, ect.), for cabling and wiring products, jewelry production.

Type “C” drawing dies: Used for cold (wet) drawing of steel and brass wire for metal cord production, bead brass wire, stainless and low-carbon steel for rope production.

Type “CG” drawing dies: Used for hot drawing (tungsten, molybdenum, their alloys, etc.).

Special purpose drawing dies: Used for mandrel drawing of stainless steel tube for injection needles and for production of graphite leads.

Note: Apart from drawing dies, the following goods are produced:

  • diamond holders for enameling of semiconductors;
  • diamond inserts for draw bars;
  • diamond nozzles (draw plates) used for primary and secondary curling at electric-bulb plants;
  • stream-forming nozzles for water-jet cutting of various materials.
